NEW Merrychef eikon Stage 3 Firmware Released

As part of Merrychef's continual innovation policy we are proud to announce the release of Stage 3 Firmware for the full eikon range. This new firmware will be installed on all units from August 2011 onwards.

Stage 3: Features & Benefits

Increased USB Compatibility: We have removed the limitations to use small <4Gb USB drives, you can now use a USB drive with a memory size of up to 128Gb with a single partition.

Auto-update: The user no longer needs to manually select and download files as the new firmware allows auto-downloading of menus and firmware upon insertion of a USB drive and turning on the product.

Upgraded MenuConnect™: The new version of MenuConnect™ now allows the user to set different languages in the Menu file. Menus that have been created prior to this stage 3 upgrade can be opened in the new version of MenuConnect™ and reinstalled to benefit from this feature.

Steam Clean Process Removed: Upon customer request we have removed the steam cleaning process function.

Menu File Identification: Users can now identify the file name of the menu that the product is running on the splash screen.
