Days of Cover:7 Days a week
Contract Hours:08.00 - 18.00 daily
Target Response Time:4 Hours.
Problem Escalation Procedure:Service Desk / Service Commercial Manager / Service Director.
Out of Hours Service:Direct to Contact Centre and Duty Manager
Telephone Hotline:One dedicated freephone telephone number for all Platinum Contract Customers.
Coverage:National network of specially trained Merrychef Field Engineers & Authorised Service Organisations (including the republic of Ireland).

Contract Basics

Planned Emission Check:Annual Planned Maintenance Visit including OCIE Check
Labour:Labour charges included in contract price for all planned visit and breakdown call-outs.
Breakdown Call-outs:All breakdown call-out charges included in contract price.
Contract terms:Contracts are arranged annually for each individual oven (not by site).

Work undertaken during Emission Check

  • Operational check to ensure staff are knowledgeable in operating and cleaning equipment correctly.
  • Comprehensive check on condition of equipment.
  • Updating of computerised full service history - recorded by each oven's serial number.
  • Installation check, to ensure oven is correctly ventilated and positioned to provide optimum use.
  • Emission check - to ensure oven does not exceed legal levels for radiation emissions.
  • Emission check label affixed to oven showing date oven last checked.
  • Written (OCIE) report to customer site providing details on the condition of each oven checked.

What else is included in Contract

  • All genuine new manufacturer's specified replacement parts fitted free of charge.
  • Free replacement loan oven should a factory repair become necessary.
  • Written Service Visit Report (SVR) for breakdowns, providing details of work carried out and parts fitted for each oven.

What is excluded from the Extended Warranty

  • All breakdowns resulting from failure to operate or regularly clean equipment in accordance with user guide instructions.
  • Deliberate damage or negligence by customer.
  • Engineer call-out where no fault is found with the oven.
  • Work carried out on ovens by unauthorised service organisation engineers.
